We absolutely loved our stay at Highfield House! Marion so graciously accommodated our family of 7. We had an early morning and she had lovely breakfast right out to us to make sure we made the bus. She gave us great recommendations on restaurants, transit into Dublin and was a lovely hostess! The rooms were comfortable and clean and the beds were cozy as well. Breakfasts were delicious and made fresh to order. Swords Express bus stop is literally outside her door and it’s an easy walk into Swords for dinner.Mireya - Canada (July, 2019)

Thanks to Marion for the very warm welcome. I felt at home right away. Perfect location in Swords village and a short walk to local restaurants and shops. Excellent breakfast menu and everything was cooked to order. I look forward to a return visit at Highfield House.Alexandra - Canada (October, 2018)
I liked the convenience of the B&B to the downtown area and the airport. This was very appealing to me and I would use this place again if I am ever in the area. It was a little warm in the bedroom but the owner allowed us to use a small fan that allowed for some sleep. I am from a very arid climate and the humidity/rain that night was a killer for comfort. This is not the owners fault. Our flight was leaving early and breakfast was, sadly, out of the question but the owner provided very good ham sandwiches for us so all was not lost. I would recommend Highfield House B&B to anyone asking about accommodations in Ireland. Thank you for allowing my wife and I into your home. We didn't want to leave! Marion, Henry, and their lovely home were exactly what we longed for during our short stay in Ireland. They are gracious, kind, and engaging, just like family. Welcoming tea, pastries, and thick, fluffy down comforters were an unexpected, generous touch. The day before we were to return to our farm in the Catskill Mountains of New York State we booked an extra night here! We can't imagine ever staying anywhere else. Tell them Debra & Antoine sent you, they definitely leave the light on for you. We stayed in room # 2 for multiple nights, but feel confident that other rooms were just as quaint and comfortable. 5 STARS just isn't enough!Debra Ann Romano - United States (June, 2018)
We actually stayed at this quaint, lovely B&B on 3 separate nights. Because I am a retired Obstetric nurse, it was a must! The location was perfect for travel to and from the airport. The house was homey and comfortable. Marion was a wonderful hostess, accommodated our needs and served wonderful breakfasts to start our days off right, I loved it.Donna Schwartz - United States (April, 2018)

Very welcoming landlady, and delicious breakfasts in spite of gluten-free and vegan diet. The beds were comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the sight of the garden and the visit of a robin. The house is cosy and pleasant to see.Gerald Niclot - France (March, 2018)

Christian - France (September, 2017)
Great B&B. Convenient to the airport for flights and picking up/dropping off rental cars. We stayed two nights - at the very beginning of our time in Ireland and again the night before we flew out. Both rooms were great, with very comfortable beds. The full Irish breakfast was delicious! I highly recommend Highfield House!Irene - United States (August, 2017)
Great location just off main street. Hosts friendly. Breakfast good but as it was a Sunday would have preferred to have it later than 9.30. Room adequate. Great pillows. Good value for money.Michael - Ireland (August, 2017)

Comfortable, very convenient for Dublin airport, yet never heard a plane. Host and hostess very helpful.Bob - United Kingdom (July, 2016)
I know swords very well having lived there for 15 years up until a few years ago. This property is in an excellent location only minutes walk from any of the airport bus routes, one stop pretty much outside the house. if driving, location is less than 10 minutes to the airport, 5 if you know the way well enough. swords nightlife is quite good, again only minutes walk from a selection of really good bars, or the cinema or the pavilions shopping centre. breakfast was excellent, owners were lovely. room was small and ensuite was very small but both fit for purpose and nicely decorated. parking is available but need to be careful on positioning to avoid blocking someone or being blocked. to be honest, faults are minimal, It was an excellent place to stay overnight before we flew from Dublin airport the following morning.Jim - Ireland (July, 2016)

We were fortunate to be able to spend 3 nights with Marion and Henry at the start of our vacation in Ireland as well as 1 night at the end. There were extremely friendly and helpful to us on both occasions. We had on leave early in the morning at the end date to return to Canada and they were kind enough to provide a small lunch for us. They have been in the business for years and are fully committed to customer service.Michael Smith - Canada (May, 2015)

Very close to the airport, lovely rooms, very good breakfast and very very nice hosts! Perfect!Jens - Germany (August, 2014)
We arrived very late at night due to flight delay and Marian was waiting for us and accepted us with a smile. They also accepted to get a package for us in advance. Excellent place if you are arriving or departing from Dublin airport.Nir Gazit - Israel (August, 2014)
Everything was excellent. Clean, convenient, helpful. Only thing to improve is water pressure in the showers. Enough water to was when the weather is fair, but I imagine it could be a bit cool when the weather is cool. However, this minor improvement would not deter us from recommending this place to anyone. Really excellent.Karen And Ken - Hong Kong (July, 2014)
Very very positive we were sharing a room the three of us. Everything was clean and cozy, rooms made up every day! The owners were very friendly and breakfast very good prepared And served in nice diningroom. We had to hurry on Monday to catch or plain regretted not to be able to say goodby to these very nice people !Hella Van Der Lee - Netherlands (June, 2014)

We booked this place for it's convenience to the Dublin airport, and this part was fine We had told them in advance that we would not be able to have the breakfast as we had an early flight They did not provide a contenental breakfast as promised Other than that, they did provide a corkscrew for our wine and a scale for weighing the luggage Beautiful yard and not noisy Neighborhood was nicePatricia Redwine - United States (July, 2012)
