We loved our stay at Avondoyle B&B. We arrived earlier than expected and were greeted with open arms by the lovely woman who runs the home. The home is beautiful and exceptionally clean throughout. Very nice B&B we stayed at for one night, we slept in a room on the ground floor of the owner's room, very comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and agreeable. We had a pleasant two night stay at the Avondoyle Country Home B&B. We stayed at several places during our trip to Ireland including a 5-star hotel, and this was definitely our favorite accommodation. The beds were comfortable, the breakfast was lovely, and our hostess, Evelyn, was so kind and such a pleasure to talk to. Very nice room and comfty bed! The bathroom looked also very new and everything was super clean! Breakfast in the morning was great - the choices as well as the food served! We visited Limerick on 9.9.14 for 3 nights. We felt it is the best B&B we have ever visited in our many travels to Ireland. Evelyn provides excellent service in a beautiful house and is a helpful hostess. The quality of the the furnishings is to a high standard, and her beds guarantee a good nights sleet. The accommodations were excellent and breakfast was delicious. Evelyn and her daughter Sorca were so helpful to us when we had to rearrange the remainder of our vacation due to an injury I sustained while sightseeing. We had a very hospitable welcome from Evelyn who immediately made us a cup of coffee and made us feel at home. She has a lovely house in a very pleasant area of the country just on the outskirts of Limerick, and close to the motorway..the breakfasts served were fabulous including homemade scones and a full omelette Worth trying!
