B&B Reviews
I don't like to give perfect scores because it almost seems like it's not as, I don't know, genuine, but the fact is that I can't dock them for anything. The house has a great location, the room a great view of Kenmare Bay, the hosts were quite simply amazing and accommodating. Everything is impeccably clean and beautiful. I stayed in 6 different places while I was in Ireland and this one is tied for first place. Seashore had the biggest room I experienced and it was ultra comfortable. When you stay there, at least one day have the pancakes - Patricia makes them thin like crepes and then you can put fruit in them - heavenly!!

This guesthouse was a most wonderful part of our stay in Ireland. Lovely room. Beautiful peaceful views. Our hosts Pat and Owen were so warm and kind and helpful. The breakfasts were divine. It felt like home!

We would highly recommend Seashore Farm Guesthouse to any couples traveling in the area. We used it as a base to travel the Ring of Kerry, the Dingle Peninsula, Killarney, Kerry Cliffs, Skelligs Chocolate, saw Puffin and Skelligs Islands where part of a Star Wars movie was filmed and ate and shopped in Kenmare the closest town. You could walk to town on a back road. Breakfast was included and delicious! Owen and Patricia were very gracious hosts. We would love to stay there again.

Our recent stay with Mary and Owen O'Sullivan at their lovely Seashore Farm Guesthouse could not have been more perfect. They have a spectacular location up a hill from the middle of Kenmare, a short walk to town. They are so gracious in every way that our stay felt like a visit with family. Thank you, Owen and Mary. We will return!

Owen and Patricia were excellent hosts who made us feel welcome during our stay. They provided an excellent breakfast every day three night stay. The room was very large as was the bathroom. The oversize king bed was super comfortable. Timers were set perfectly to afford warm temperatures as we returned from our day's adventures. The shower was strong and there was plenty of hot water.

We came in very late and thus where warmly welcomed. The hosts of Seashore Farm Guesthouse run their B&B passionately and loving. It feels a bit like visiting family after a long time. Breakfast is superbe, the rooms are large and very clean. The views from the terraces are grand. Thank you for accommodating us!

A lovely B&B just outside the village of Kenmare. Quiet and idyllic, and just what we wanted for our stay. Our hosts were wonderfully welcoming and generous in suggestions about what to do and see during our stay, with lots of reference material on a wide range of topics available. Our ensuite bedroom was quiet, clean and comfortable.

Gracious and outstanding hospitality. The owners Patricia and Owen are so kind and take care of your every need. Everything is beautiful and immaculate, and the breakfasts are superb. Perfect location just out from Kenmare, which is a lovely town, with gorgeous views over the water to the Berea Peninsula across the way. Just off the Ring of Kerry, so very convenient for taking that drive. We would definitely enjoy staying there again!

This is an amazing B&B. We loved it. The owners went our of their way to make us feel at home. Breakfast was delicious. We are vegetarians and yet we had plenty of excellent dishes. The room was large and spacious and very comfortable. The views of the fields and the sea are so beautiful! There are lots of interesting books to read and enjoy if it's too rainy or if you just want to sit and relax. The house is not far from Kenmare - 10 minutes walk or 2 minutes drive, so we enjoyed dinners and traditional music in the evenings. We shall surely come back.

This is one of the best rooms that we have ever experienced at a B&B and the owners are certainly interested providing very good service to their customers. The room was spotless, the king bed was comfortable, and breakfast was very good. The price is on the higher end but we think it was worth the extra cost. The B&B is located about one mile from the center of the town but it is an easy 15 minute walk.

What a wonderful place! Kenmare is perfectly located for active holidays in the Southwest of Ireland and the Seashore Farm Guesthouse is perfectly located in Kenmare: a bit on the edge soooo quiet nights!, but close enough to walk about 10 minutes on a lovely little street for some beers in the pubs of the village. The view to the bay is beautiful, you can even walk down to the shore yes, the seashore farm has indeed its own private shore. Patricia and Eoin are great hosts: charming, friendly, attentive. And they prepare this fantastic breakfast. We stayed for 4 nights in July 2016 and will recommend this place to all our friends. Greetings from Vienna and Munich

We stayed here for 3 nights. There were 6 of us and we were made to feel so welcome by Patricia and Eoin. We all had large, very comfortable ensuite rooms. Almost everything had been thought of. We loved the hairdryers in all the rooms, carefully positioned so that one could sit down in front of the mirror to dry one's hair. The free wifi was most unexpected, but brilliant. The breakfast buffet, was superb in our opinion and the cooked breakfasts certainly didn't disappoint. The dining room looks out over the estuary and the mirror in the sideboard afforded those breakfast guests not lucky enough to be looking out at the view the chance to see it. Our hosts could not have been more helpful and gave us wonderful advice on places to go and visit in the areas we planned to explore each day. We would all go back in a flash and would certainly not hesitate to recommend this delightful bed and breakfast.

We stayed here a year and a half ago on our first trip to Ireland. It was the best place we stayed during our week and one of the highlights of our holiday. We still remember it fondly and hope to have the chance to return in the future.

Perfect in every way! Our room was lovely and spotless and the bed was so comfortable. Fabulous view! Owen and Mary Patricia are wonderful hosts. They loaned us maps and were happy to answer questions and offer suggestions on sightseeing. Charming couple! Breakfast each morning was delicious. Short walk or drive into Kenmare. We walked to town each night for dinner. Such a good location, out of town with a view of the bay, quiet and peaceful and yet so close to shopping and all the wonderful restaurants. Great location for exploring the peninsulas.

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at the Seashore Farm Guesthouse. The view from the house is amazing. There is a delightful feel that you are miles away from civilization while being so close to town it took us about 15 minutes to walk into Kenmare on a quiet road. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the rooms were spotless. We would definitely stay at the Seashore Farm Guesthouse again.

Very confortable and clean. Good breakfast. Beautiful view. A bit too close to the street to Ennistymon. Ask for a room in the back, where we are, not noisy at all

I beautiful location that we've stayed at before & will do so again without question. The house is very well appointed with furnishings in the early 1900's style. The bedrooms we have seen are large & comfortable, ditto bathroom. Breakfasts are traditional Irish B&B fair with a good selection on offer, & if you want something else or more, you only have to ask. Its set in its own grounds that stretch down to the seashore that is a pleasant evening walk through the two fields with birds & rabbits for company. Its about 1/2 mile 800m out of town up & down the country lane, a nice walk but take a torch if you are walking home in the dark, & its uphill home, otherwise its the car. Criticisms are hard to put in such a nice 1900's styled house, but wifi internet & satellite TV would make it so much better.

It is a pleasure to review Seashore House! We have stayed in many B&B's, and, in fact, are B&B owners ourselves, and have never met its equal! What a beautiful home in such an ideal location! And especially Owen and Patricia who are exceptional hosts. We simply loved it! If we could, we would return to Seashore House again and again.
