We had a wonderful stay at the Parkway. Seamus and his staff are delightful, very helpful and friendly. The B & B is clean with comfortable beds and located conveniently to sightseeing as well as the airport. They prepare an excellent breakfast which is absolutely delicious. Would stay again in these charming accomodations if fortunate enough to return to Ireland.

It was a last minute booking because the regular B & B I stay at, was full. I was satisfied with the Parkway. The staff was very kind and attentive. It was very close to O'Connell st, just a short walk. In a pinch I would definitely stay again. the only downside was my room was extremely tiny and it was a little noisy at night.

We really enjoyed our stay in Parkway Guesthouse in August. It is a beautiful old hose situated only 15 minutes from the city centre. Our twin room was nice and comfortable. Breakfast included not only freshly made Irish breakfast, but also muesli and fruit salad, very delicious. We especially enjoyed the great service of the staff, being much more than just hospitable! Thank you very much for two great stays!

The staff was very accommodating, particularly Seamus, and the night porter, Nicolas. Breakfast was good, except for the ham which was too dry and salty.

The room in which we stayed is on the 3rd 4th in the U.S..A.! floor, so one must be in good physical condition to do those steps! The double bed, though comfortable, is wedged into a corner so that one person has no access to the floor without climbing over the other, so, agility is needed! To use the bathroom, a slender body is advantageous! Overall, the room was very clean. The breakfast was well prepared and complete, though uninspired. However,if you leave hungry, it's your own fault! The location is an easy walk if you are in condition to walk a couple of miles to many sites, shopping, and restaurants. All-in-all, I would happily stay at Parkway again.

A Five-Star B&B! The most impressive was not Dublin at all but a very helpful, kind and friendly host and his team!
The day we return to Ireland again, the accomodation for Dublin is already chosen!
Wishing Seamus and his family the very best!

I stayed in the parkway for one night. It's around the corner from the mater hospital where I was attending a course. From the moment I arrived I was impressed. I was met with friendly staff who happily gave me a hairdryer. The room on the top floor had a very comfortable double bed, tv and plenty of mirrors. The ensuite was perfect too with fluffy towels. Seamus and his staff made me feel very welcome. The sitting room at the front of the guesthouse was very comfortable with a big tv. Breakfast the next morning was lovely- cereals, fruit, great coffee and a Gluten free irish breakfast I only told them the night before I was a coeliac.
I will definitely return to the parkway during my next trip to dublin. The location is brilliant for the city centre- I walked home from Oconnell street alone at 10pm and felt safe at all times. Highly recommended and great value!

I decided to return to Parkway guesthouse after having such good service last year. I was not disappointed. our bed was large and comfortable, our gluten free breakfast remembered and ample. One day we had a small medical problem and I asked Seamus for the location of a late pharmacy, for him to provide the solution of required dressings himself so i didnt have to go out. I find it easy walking distance to places i wish to visit and quieter than the southside.Of course there is some steet noise, it being inner city but we slept well. If you want frills go elsewhere. if you want focus on essential needs done well with care. Any extras wanted, we only had to ask.

We spent four nights at this bed and breakfast in Dublin.
Our room was a "twin room" nad it was quiet, clean, spacious and comfortable. Even the bathroom was very large and clean.
The staff was friendly and the breakfast room is beautiful as well as breakfast.
You must try the Irish breakfast: eat in abundance and is all very good.
Definitely recommend staying here if you're going to Dublin, for the price and location you can arrive from the B&b to Trinity College and the Temple Bar area in 5 minutes you will not find better!
Only thing to watch out for: ask for a room very quiet because nearby there is the DART Dublin Area Rapid Transit which is the rail line running along the coast of Dublin.

Very Good breakfast, very friendly manager, the location could be better
My room was not a proper room but a part of a former bigger room which was divied ino two. So they added an extra wc and the space was really small, rectangular in extreme.
Maybe other rooms are better
They forget to leave gels, soap, shampoo in the WC

I stayed at Parkway Guesthouse for four nights and I will definitly choose this place again if I ever go back to Dublin. It is well situated ~15 mins walk from temple bar and other attractions and not too far from the airport, our host was helpful and went out of his way to accommodate our needs, the room was very clean and the full Irish breakfast was excellent.

We stayed at Parkway Guesthouse for 4 days in August and we are pretty satisfied with our choice.
The B&B is in a quite convenient position, within walking distance to the city centre, making it a good base for excursions around the rest of the city Being quite close to the centre, at night it was not so quiet but it's a small inconvenience. Although the rooms were not so large, they were very clean and well-kept. Breakfast both continental and Irish was rich and the staff, who was very helpful, was ready to give a second helping if we wanted it.
All in all I would highly recommend it and plan to stay there again if I return to Dublin.

We were planning to stay at The Parkway Guesthouse for two nights when unfortunately we had to return to the US for a family emergency. With only a day notice Seamus kindly refunded our credit card. The reason we were choosing the Parkway Guesthouse is that we had friends who stayed there and only said wonderful things about Seamus and his B&B. Seamus worked very hard to get us a family room for two days on short notice and went above and beyond to accommodate us. When we return to Dublin we will stay at the Parkway.

An excellent value. Extremely close to the Dublin Writers Museum, James Joyce Center, Gate Theatre, and O'Connell Street. Seamus was welcoming and did not charge for our first night when our flight in was delayed and we arrived a day late. Rooms are basic but clean.

We enjoyed our stay in the Parkway Guesthouse so much! We had the sweetest welcome and a lovely little room. We also appreciated the breakfast - especially on our last day when we had to leave at 4 in the morning and there was breakfast prepared for us so that we would not have to leave on an empty stomach.
Thank you so much for this nice travelling experience!

The value and location was great as was the breakfast. Our room #1 was rather tiny and the shower room somewhat smaller than we've found on cruise ships, but everything worked for us. Had we been of larger proportions, the shower room may have been too snug. If you are on the "plus" size, you may wish to inquire about a larger room. The proprieter is quite attentive and dedicated as evidenced by the fact that as were were returning late our first night, we noticed he had waited up for a couple who were just arriving as we got back. The breakfast was quite filling and we counted 3 types of sausages and 2 pieces of bacon on each of our plates the first morning! Had to ask to reduce the meat portion the second morning. Returning to the guesthouse our second night there was a cozy fire burning in the lounge fireplace and we were tempted to go back down in our jammies to enjoy it. We would not hesitate to stay at the Parkway again.

My husband and I stayed for four nights at this B&B in June. The family room we stayed in was very nice and clean. Parkway is located only a few blocks from O'Connell Street and 10-15 mins walking from Temple Bar and city center. Very convenient to get to and from the airport. Just take bus no 41 by Mountjoy square park or no 16 O'Connell Street. The bus ride takes about 30-40 mins. Breakfast in the morning was really great. A nice start to our day. Free Wi-Fi was much appreciated. Seamus and his staff were so friendly and helpful! We had a wonderful time at Parkway and would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable bed, excellent full breakfast which set us up for the day, and pleasant staff. Only down side was the distance from the nearest airport bus stop - a bit of a trudge in the rain! Without a suitcase it was only a 10 minute stroll to O'Connell St.
Stayed 3 nights and would happily have stayed longer.

The room and all the house are poorly renovated and furnished. But the owner is very friendly and helpful.
It is located very good, you can easily walk to the city center 30 mins walk. It is also not far away from the airport 10 mins by car.
Parkway Guesthouse is ok for one night, if you do not want to spend much time in the room.
I cannot say anything about the breakfast, as we had to leave early in the morning for the airport.
