We had an excellent stay of 13 nights. We had the triple room for two people, so had room to stash our stuff, sit on the loveseat, spread out a bit and be comfortable. Gwen and John were most friendly and helpful. Breakfasts included plentiful fresh fruit every day, eggs and porridge cooked to order and the usual yogurt, cold cereals, toast and brown bread. A substantial start to the day. We will go back on our next trip and recommend Castle Moor without reservation.Jean And Mike - United States (November, 2018)

Our visit was lovely! John and his daughter were fantastic hosts. He met us at the door and showed us to our rooms. We didn't know how to turn on the shower and he came running to help us at 9:30pm. His breakfast was delicious. His advice on where to go was spot on. He was very concerned about us, especially our sunburns! He was very sweet. We would definitely stay with them again!Kathie Bradeen - United States (July, 2018)

Dear Sirs, Our stay at the Castle Moor B&B was perfect in every respect. Going though it in retrospect, it is difficult to find any weak points about it. My wife and I enjoyed making the acquaintance of a warm and well-read personality such as Gwen, and my wife, who is French-educated, discovered her fluency in French with great pleasure. We think she deserves the highest classification in your directory. Mario SicaMario Sica - Italy (October, 2015)
Warm welcome from Gwen, made to feel right at home without being intrusive. Great location, near UL with ample parking. Nice room with Tea / Coffee and TV. Being asked what would be a good time for breakfast was a nice touch. Breakfast itself was excellent - great quality, plenty of food and nice conversation. Finally, a great price too.Martin Duffy - Ireland (September, 2015)

Excellent! Very friendly and very helpful. Lovely accommodation for both couples. Breakfast was superb. I highly recommend this lovely B&B.Newton Maharana - Ireland (September, 2014)
Its one of the best accommodation. Being from other national, there would be a time that one would need guidance and help to explore things outside. The B&B owners were friendly and helpful and I liked the way they took care of us during our stay. Accommodation is very good with all the facilities plus the breakfast is included. You may never get all this everywhere in limerick at a small price. If you are a student of UL than of course this place is a right choice for short stay.Newton Maharana - Ireland (September, 2014)

Very comfortable room, lovely breakfast choices and very friendly owner who made us feel very welcome : great location, nice and relaxing and walking distance to the local shops/ pubs/ university.Rachel Doyle - Ireland (March, 2014)
Plus: We appreciated the friendly welcome and slept soundly, the road did not present a problem with noise, the location was perfect for our activity at UL. The room and bathroom was clean and well equipped and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. There was a great selection of fruit and plenty to choose from for hot food and the coffee was good. Minus: The window above the door to our room allowed light in all night and just made one feel a lack of privacy. Bathroom could be updated but it works well anyway.Rob Genest - Ireland (March, 2014)
A lovely welcome and great hospitality. Highly recommended.Conor Mccarthy - Ireland (February, 2014)
Very well looked after for my overnight stay at Castle Moor B&B from start to finish. I was greeted at the door as soon as I walked up the driveway and offered a lift to catch a bus into town for a rugby match. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in and I found the house very relaxing. When I went to the kitchen for breakfast the next morning, there was a lovely spread of fruit salad, juices and cereals laid out and Gwen and John were at pains to ensure myself and the other guests had everything they needed. I had a running race that day and I was kindly given a lift down the the University. Really appreciated the 'extra-mile' service given and would recommend this B&B to anybody passing through Limerick for a night or two. Thanks John and Gwen!Conor Mccarthy - Ireland (October, 2013)

Castle Moor is Irish hospitality at its best. Gwen and her husband made us feel so welcome and even drove out to meet us when we got lost. Our room was a delight, spacious, comfortable and even had French doors to the garden. Our breakfast was excellent and Gwen cooks the best sausages in Ireland. In all it was a B&B where we felt at home and were treated like family. Can't wait to come back and highly recommend to anyoneChristine Sheehan - Australia (October, 2013)
Very hospitable, very good selection of food and also very close to Limerick and easy to relocate B&B at night after a day of touring. ThanksKevin And Kerry Gallagher - United States (September, 2013)
WHAT A DELIGHT... LIKE STAYING WITH A CARING FRIEND. We thoroughly enjoyed staying with Gwen and her husband John, who are extraordinary hosts. They couldn't have been friendlier or more considerate... even to the extent of hanging our laundry outside in the fresh breeze and folding it for us when we returned! The breakfasts were delicious and I'm a foodie, with fresh eggs cooked to order, fresh fruit salad, bacon, creamy porridge I actually bought a bag of it at Tesco to take back to the States and heavenly homemade scones the best I've ever had!. From the time of our arrival, she called out "Hi Carla and Robert!" like she had known us forever! She was even helpful with local phone calls to check on our tours. Our room with a double and two twin beds was peaceful, spacious and comfortable, and location convenient we did have a car. We met friendly guests, and overall had a great experience!Carla And Robert Fox - United States (August, 2013)
We stayed for one night and have no complaints. We were delayed en route and arrived at 11 pm but the owner was very understanding. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was lovely especially the fruit salad and the owner was extremely friendly and attentive to our needs. We can highly recommend it and will stay there again if we're in the area.Celine O'gorman - United Kingdom (August, 2013)

I can't say enough wonderful things about my stay at Castle Moor. Gwen did a fantastic job of making me ,and everyone else that I saw staying there, feel welcomed and at home. This is a great place to relax and enjoy top notch service and accommodations. Centrally located where you can get to the nearby city center of Limerick, or make a day trip to Dingle like I did and get back in time to relax. A terrific value for your money. Thanks a million to a great hostess Gwen!Ron Cox - United States (March, 2013)
I have never met such a lovely person as Gwen and her husband. The rooms were lovely and warm. Everything was just wonderful.Ramona Meister - Germany (November, 2012)
Travelling a lot, I’ve never ever met anyone as hospitable as Gwen. Always ready to give a helping hand to her visitors, Gwyn gave me a lift to the Uni and was ready to drop me to the city or the nearest bus stop! House is cosy and clean and the breakfast is massive and superb incl. freshly made juice and heated plates. I definitely recommend anyone to stay at Castle Moor B&B while in Limerick.Kinga - Poland (October, 2012)
What a wonderful place to stay! The owners were so welcoming and sweet! The room that we stayed in was comfy and very big and everything was super clean! Surprisingly there was a combined tub/shower like in the US so that was nice since all of the other B&B's were small showers. The breakfast was very yummy and filling and the location was safe and very close to downtown Limerick. Couldn't have found a better place! I would definitely stay here again!Meghan Riley - United States (October, 2012)
