B&B Reviews
This B&B was in a very scenic location although I did find it difficult to find. The breakfast was excellent as was the accommodation. It was great to find a single room as this keeps the price more affordable. I would certainly recommend Beenoskee as a place to stay.

We had a 5 day stay at Beenoskee B&B and felt right at home. Mary and Michael are wonderful hosts. The rooms and beds are comfortable- we slept so well. Mary does her own baking, the breakfasts are delicious. You will be right in front of the beach and nearby restaurants and pubs. Also, Dingle is close-by. Looking forward to returning! Thank you so much!

This lovely B&B is perfectly located near the beach and between Cloghane and Castlegregory. As we walked the Dingle Way, we appreciated the short walk from Cloghane to this B&B to enjoy the rest of the day on the beach. A Pub serving great food is just a 20 minutes walk away. The room was nice and clean, the breakfast so delicious and made with love. We were welcomed with great hospitality and are grateful for meeting Mary and Michael, the lovely hosts.

We stayed here for the second time in July 2018. It is a place that will make you want to return. The rooms are very clean and the bed was great. Mary is a fantastic host and very welcoming and friendly. The location is terrific, right at the beginning of Connor Pass. It is also close to The Ring of Kerry and The Beara Peninsula. Mary has great suggestions for restaurants and places to go. All of that is excellent, but what is really superb are Mary's breakfasts. They are fantastic with a large variety of choices. Do not skip the pancakes and fresh fruit as one or more of your breakfast choices.

Very warm welcome, we had a delicious homemade carrot cake as a welcome present ! The view of the sea is AMAZING in the morning. Also, the breakfast room's view is wonderful. You can enjoy a delicious full Irish breakfast in front of a beautiful typically Irish landscape. Rooms are also really cute and comfortable for a reasonable price. I highly recommend this B&B to spend your vacations or even just as a step in your road-trip as we did

Vielen Dank Mary!

We stayed three days with my family my wife and my two boys 16 and 18 yo Mary is a wonderful person full of energy. She made our mornings an tasty and exquisite moment with a choice of different breakfasts that we wanted to taste all of them. The view is stunning and the Atlantic is so close we decided to go to the beach by foot the first day. We went to Dingle every night for the evening meal 20 minutes drive on the breathtaking Conor Pass bending road. We wanted to climb the mount St Marton Mary but the weather was misty. Thanks to Mary, we have dicovered a wonderful place with moutain lakes, a couple of kilometers away from Beenoske B&B, the Glanteenassig Forest park. A must see for walkers. Thanks Mary and Mike!

When was the last time you went to a B&B and was given a breakfast menu with 19 choices not including the standard yogurt and cereal items Imagine our surprise when Mary handed us the menu after we checked in and asked us to indicate our preference. This was after two slices of cake with coffee flavored buttercream icing mysteriously appeared in our room. Yes, there is yummy food but then there is the location - right across the road from the Brandon Bay and twelve miles of uninterrupted beach. Our room faced the beach and had a large picture window that allowed a magnificent view of the sea and the mountains and the atmospherics. At the end of the day our bed was very comfortable and we had a lovely night's sleep on the first night of our trans-Atlantic trip. This B&B is an easy drive from Shannon airport so it is a perfect stop the first or last night of our holiday. We had a sunset dinner at Spillane's. Thank you Mary and Michael for the lovely visit and conversation. We are very pleased to recommend your perfectly situated and hospitable home and hope to stay with you again.

We stayed there in June and were totally surprised upon arrival that the heat was on in our room to keep us warm! What a "warm" welcome! We didn't bring our suitcases inside, just a night bag, and our room looked huge. Mary, who reminded me a busy bee, made our stay very pleasant. The BIGGEST PLUS to this place- no one walks above your head, since it's one level house.

Mary greeted us at the door with the most friendliest of welcomes and led us the living room with the most amazing view of Brandon Bay beach overlooked by the mountains. She showed us our rooms,1 family room double & single bed with garden view and 1 double with amazing sea view. Both rooms good size rooms, well furnished and with nice touches that you would find in a hotel like cotton wool and buds, shampoo and conditioner as well as shower gel,tea/ coffee making facilities in the room and also hair dryer available for use in the drawer. She showed us the guest info book with wifi password and details of breakfast and check out times. She offered us tea/ coffee and brought the most amazing home made Guinness and fruit slice which was delicious! Mary is the most amazing hostess and gave us a map of Dingle town and the Peninsula and recommended good restaurants and pubs in Dingle and surrounding area, especially as we were vegetarian! She then asked us what we wanted for breakfast and showed us a menu with selection of starters and 19 options of main courses plus homemade bakes which she makes and takes great pride in! We have never encountered that many breakfast options anywhere in any B&b and the best breakfast we have ever had on this trip! The beds and pillows were very comfortable, shower was electric but good enough with very hot water anytime. The location is fantastic with the magnificent sea views just before the Connor pass to get to a Dingle. This is the best place to stay in Dingle and if you want the best view, best breakfast and most friendly and welcoming hostess in Mary then this is it!

This was our final stay on a 6 day drive through Irelanand. My wife and I had spent the day in Dingle and drove through the mountains, to the location of the b and b which was very simple to find. The view from our room was stunning. We were able to watch the sunset on the beach. The beach was maybe 5 minutes away, as was a number of pubs with stellar food. The room was perfect, a comfortable bed, big vanity and enjoy suit bathroom. Our hostess chatted with us upon arrival and was so sweet and welcoming. I can not say enough how nice and at home this b and b is. The breakfast that was served in the morning was probably the best meal we had in Ireland. I would recommend this to anyone in the Dingle area!

We enjoyed our stay at Beenoskee very much. Mary and Micheal are very nice people! We arrived very early, because we were hiking and the rain had us totally wet, but even this was no problem and we were warmly welcomed by Mary. The breakfast and especially Mary's homebaking were delicious. Although the location is not quite perfect, if you don't have a car, we had no problems, because Micheal took care of us and gave us a lift. Thank you! We can definately recommend this B&B. And if we are going to take another trip to Ireland this will be one place to stay again! :

My wife and I thoroughly recommend this B&B. Mary, the owner, welcomed us on the afternoon of our arrival with a cup of tea and a slice of homemade fruit cake. The next morning we were offered a fantastic breakfast, the best we have had in Ireland. My wife had a plate of crepes with maple syrup and cream and fresh fruit salad, and I had scrambled eggs on smoked salmon. The location is stupendous, with views overlooking Ireland's longest sandy beach about 8km at Brandon Bay on the north coast of the Dingle peninsula. The beach is just across the road within easy walking distance. The area is in the Gaelic speaking district of Ireland. There are a couple of pubs at the nearby village of Cloghane with a good menu. Beenoskee is the name of the mountain situated just behind the B&B. It is the highest peak on the Dingle peninsula. The road in front of the B&B climbs up to the Connor Pass. It was a sunny day when we drove up, and we had glorious views of Brandon Bay on the north coast and Dingle on the south side of the peninsula.

If you're crossing the Conor Pass and need a B&B for the night, make it Mary Ferriter's Beenoskee in Stradbally. She and her husband Michael are the most welcoming hosts. The rooms are clean, well appointed and have beautiful views of the sea. Mary has the most extensive breakfast menu ever. We stayed there 9 years ago, and remembered the great hospitality. We had a beautiful view of the bay, the fields, the sheep and the cows from our room. The breakfast was delicious! Probably the best we had at any B&B our whole 2 week trip through the UK & Ireland- the smoked salmon and fresh fruit were simply perfect. We hope to make it back here again someday!
